‘Sustained response’?

 

What on earth is this gentleman talking about?

I am very tired of the question-begging in all such pieces in the corporate press, to say nothing of the just plain dishonesty of a great many.

The only thing Assad has done is defend his country against packs of paid mercenaries from abroad.

He has never used poison gas. Never. There is not a scrap of proof.

However, we’ve seen several efforts at false flags to say he did so that America can bomb a country which has never attacked it.

Now, there’s some dirty work for you – setting up people so you can bomb them. How admirable.

By the way, Assad is still embraced by a majority of Syrians.

All of its Christians embrace him because he has always defended their interests. The mercenary cutthroats dumped into the country greatly threatened the Christians.

The army, after years of hard fighting, remains loyal.

When America and Britain illegally invaded Iraq, they not only killed an awful lot of people, they created a couple of million refugees.

Guess who took them in?

Oh, my God, that Assad is a terrible man.

Yes, it is a serious question.

I don’t pretend to know the answer, but I know to a certainty we have not been told the truth.

Nowhere near it.

Just uninformed. You repeat inaccurate generalizations from biased news media who themselves know nothing beyond what government tells them.

I certainly hope Putin doesn’t change.

He’s the finest statesman of our generation.

He offers rational consideration versus America’s impulsive outbursts.

Or how about Netanyahu’s ambushing hundreds and hundreds of unarmed people demonstrating against their imprisonment? That’s beyond impulsive. It’s totally criminal.

We need more of what Putin has to offer.

A world where every leader behaved like Trump, or especially one where every leader behaved like Netanyahu, would be chaos, just chaos and death. Actually, the word which comes to mind is Götterdämmerung.
