But Americans on the whole have short memories.

And celebrity worship thrives like a weird tropical infection.

There were Americans, many, who went to the O J Simpson home to be photographed at the front gate shortly after such a brutal crime.

You really cannot underestimate them.

And Jeb certainly doesn’t.
