JOHN CHUCKMAN COMMENT: NEVER MIND IRAN – THERE’S A VAST AND TERRIBLE HISTORY OF RIOTS AND QUELLING RIOTS IN AMERICA’S PAST

FURTHER ON TRUMP’S IGNORANT COMMENTS ABOUT DEMONSTRATIONS IN IRAN

Well, there’s a long history of “quelling” riots in America, that’s for sure.

Watts Riots, 1965

Detroit Riots, 1967.

Riots in a number of cities in 1968 when Dr. King was murdered.

Democratic National Convention in Chicago, 1968.

Kent State University, 1970.

Attica New York prison riot, 1971.

Waco Texas FBI siege, 1993.

That is a very short list, but it consists of ones vivid in living memory. A great loss of life in the hundreds was involved just in these few.

If you want a whole lot more, see:

And, of course, who else in the world has been bombing and killing and overthrowing people in more than half a dozen countries in recent years? Probably about two million killed in the Neocon Wars.
